_POSITION SUMMARY_

The transporter works under the direction of the Nursing Information Support Services manager. The scope of responsibilities include: coordination of floor transfers as well as the safe and timely transport of patents throughout the facility. Data collection related to patient and communication of patient responses to the RN. Under no circumstances may the transporter delegate tasks or supervise other members of the health team. The transporter will assume personal accountability for organizational mission, care, and SHARE values.

_PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS_

Heavy Work - exert/lift up to 100 lbs. force occasionally, and/or 50 lbs. frequently, and/or 20 lbs. constantly.
