_Position Summary_

Daily oversight of operations and management of error, audit and productivity reports (as applicable). Provide technical expertise for multiple system interfaces within Patient Access. Tracks and trends errors to develop and conduct and/or provide input into associate training. Acts as a liaison with the Business Office, IT, clinical staff and decentralized registration areas. Troubleshoots equipment problems and communicates the needs for associates. Communicates shift needs to the supervisor or manager as appropriate. Provides input for associate evaluations (as applicable). Committee involvement as assigned. May provide project management as needed.

_Minimum Education Requirements_

  • High School Diploma or GED required

_Minimum Experience Requirements_

  • 2 years applicable experience preferred

_License/Certifications_

  • CHAA certification or obtained within one year of hire (as applicable_)_

Quality

  • Accurately complete assigned reports. Contribute to the overall quality of the department measured by reports and audits. *

Service

  • Collects and assists with quality screening for staff and or unit reports as it relates to compliance and regulatory requirements. *

  • Oversees staff assigned error report management and tracking as part of data flow and quality. *

  • Timely completion of assigned reports. *

  • Resolves/researches Patient Access department errors on multiple systems. *

  • Provides technical expertise and oversees project development within the department. *

  • Actively seeks opportunities to improve the overall service line process flow. *

  • Responsible for generating reports and statistical data relative to quality measurements, productivity and collections. *

  • Provides support to Patient Access department. *

  • Identify trends and develop/coordinate/provide training for new associates and associates that fall beneath established standards. *

  • Participate in the development and delivery of training protocols competency assessments. *

  • Educates and verify that the staff adhere to hospital and departmental policies. *
