*Position Summary*

Partners with the business and leads day to day human resource initiatives, programs, and cultural alignment. This position is expected to proactively seek solutions to business challenges, develop action plans, and implement necessary changes to facilitate consistent and rapid response to requests of management. The Sr. HR Generalist

guides all associate relations, educates managers on HR policy and supports a positive working environment. Manages the onboarding and off boarding of all physicians within scope.

*Minimum Education Requirements*

High School Diploma or GED required.

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or other business related degree preferred.

*Minimum Experience Requirements*

5 years Human Resource Generalist experience

Proficient knowledge of JCAHO, healthcare recruitment, project management, legal compliance and implementation of training and development programs

Knowledge of development and implementation of training programs

Ability to make independent decisions

Subject Matter Expert in ADAAA and FMLA

Excellent communication and organizational skills • Advanced excel

*License/Certifications*

Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred

*Position Duties (essential functions denoted with an * )*

Acts as consultant to associates and managers in the interpretation of HR policies and procedures.*

Directs managers in matters regarding the union and the collective bargaining agreement if applicable.*

Directs managers in their handling of employee relation situations such as discipline/corrective actions, harassment, workplace violence, restructuring/reductions in force and termination which may include coordinating and facilitate associate corrective action counseling sessions and conflict resolution meetings.*

Conducts internal investigations, to include harassment and discrimination situations.*

Facilitates and manage the problem resolution and union grievance procedures.*

Handles unemployment claims and along with managers, may serve as a company representative in unemployment hearings.*

Assists HR Team in identifying, developing and implementing long and short range goals that align with our facility/departmental dashboards by participating with leadership in developing associate selection criteria, tools, and effective measurements.*

Through individual and group facilitation, joint decision making, and education, identifies, develops and effectively addresses customer’s needs in all areas of Human Resources.*

Effectively provide day to day Human Resources services to customer/associates and develop and implement long term solutions to problems, needs and issues.*

Able to maintain flexibility to pro-actively plan for shifting and changing organizational priorities.*

Partner with managers to support associate survey/associate satisfaction initiatives from identification of issues to development of action planning and reporting.*

Efficiently provide expertise in retaining organizationally aligned associates.*

Partner with managers in coordinating all associates activity to include but not limited to: new hire process, pay rate changes, job title, FTE and department changes etc.*

Manages all onboarding and off boarding of physicians.*

Assess, plan, coordinate and facilitate various educational training sessions and orientation sessions (i.e. New Manager Orientation, Monthly Manager Training, New Hire Orientation, and Gallup Survey Training).*
