Do you have in-patient hospital experience and looking for a new opportunity to support a multi-disciplinary team? Porter Adventist Hospital has an exciting opportunity to join their transplant team as an RN Clinical Transplant Coordinator! In this role, you will be workingwith transplant patients on evaluation, education, scheduling and testing. If you are looking for a flexible schedule and the ability to work independently, this may be the opportunity for you! The schedule is Monday-Friday and requires after hours call for organ offers.

Position Summary

Assumes responsibility and accountability for comprehensive care, support and education to transplant recipients, living donors and their families throughout all phases of the transplant process. Participates as a member of the transplant multidisciplinary team to identify and meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient, ensuring the coordination of the clinical aspects for the transplant recipient or living donor. Acts as a liaison between a kidney transplant program and dialysis facilities, as applicable. Utilizes the nursing process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values of Centura Health.

Minimum Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school of Nursing

Minimum Experience Requirements

Two years of recent acute care nursing experience

Previous transplant experience, preferred

Strong interpersonal and analytical skills

Strong Computer skills


Current Colorado RN license

Current BLS from the American Heart Association

Clinical Transplant Coordinator certification, preferred
