_GENERAL SUMMARY_:

The IT Director - Consumer Solutions provides leadership to align strategy to product and service solutions for the customers and patients of Centura, ensuring transparency and accountability for all consumer facing IT products in the portfolio. The portfolio and role covers the technology for all mobile apps, websites, patient portals, access/integrated products, digital experience (DX), user experience (UX), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and new vendor selection. The Director also is responsible for advising and guiding product owners on key customer solutions to drive the long-term adoption of all products, ensuring proper product alignment to the needs of customers (i.e., patients, clinicians, internal stakeholders and leadership).

_PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES_:

  • Manage application teams (e.g., application product owners, designers) and encourage teams to align IT services to customer journeys and bring new opportunities to life

  • Be an expert on digital health customers; interact with them as needed to understand their needs and desires, conduct market research, and monitor competitor activity to identify market opportunities

  • Drive technology decisions and oversee the implementation, operations, and management of end-to-end solutions, including strategy, planning and delivery.

  • Establish and manage guidelines for documentation (e.g., product/service requirements, product development roadmaps)

  • Continuously evaluate the technology portfolio and associated product lines through analytics and reporting; Develop options to improve and prioritize, with the overall goal of product competitiveness and value to the customer

  • Nimbly adapt, manage, and maintain products to delight customers and maintain a competitive edge

  • Create and coach product team members through providing guidance and direction to deliver strategic and tactical results

  • Develop and enforce standard processes and configuration guidelines

  • Monitor user satisfaction with product lines and initiate improvements/corrective actions as necessary to ensure expectations are exceeded

  • Look for opportunities to optimize the technology assets through analyzing total cost of ownership, effectiveness and value for customers

  • Evaluate program performance against expectations and influences changes to programs to improve competitive position and optimize performance

  • Accelerate the migration of core services into the next generation technology platform

  • Lead efforts for cross-portfolio synergies across product lines

  • Develop and continuously enhance the product delivery methodology and standards

  • Continuously evaluate the collective set of technology portfolios, capitalizing on product evolution and product innovation in order to stay competitive and drive value

  • Frequent collaboration with other functions across Centura (e.g., Marketing, Physician Enterprise, Nursing, Group CEOs) to develop best-fit solutions for users and ensure consistency across strategy, implementation, management, and operations

  • Responsible for product portfolio management, including product portfolio budgets and product line budgets, across the Centura digital health product portfolios

  • Manage and maintains relationships with key technology solution vendors/partners to support business portfolios

_EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED_:

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business, IT, marketing, or related field

  • Master’s degree preferred

  • Minimum 10 years of experience with a proven track record of leading, designing, developing, and managing fully integrated initiatives and successfully leading teams

  • 5 years development experience for mobile apps

  • 10 years development experience for web apps

  • Experience utilizing web analytics, Content Management Systems (Drupal), CRM (Salesforce, Oracle) required
