_Position Summary_

This position is responsible for covering open shifts or to assist with high volume in the Nutrition Services department. The Nutrition Services Floater may be assigned to any position that they have received proper training in to provide support to the department’s staffing needs. The Nutrition Services Floater needs to be flexible and able to complete a variety of kitchen duties and provide excellence in customer services to our patients, visitors, and staff.

_Position Essential Functions_

  • Provides staffing support to the department by covering for open shifts and high volume as determined by the supervisor.

  • Follows Health Department policies regarding food safety and sanitation.

  • Treats all with respect and exhibits good customer services skills.

  • Must exhibit work flexibility as required of a relief worker.

  • Helps to maintain a positive, team oriented, and professional services conscious environment.

_Physical Requirements_

Medium Work – Exert up to 50Ilbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and or/ up to 10lbs constantly.
